What Is Your Ideal Body Weight?
This might surprise you but your ideal body weight doesn't actually mean anything and should not be your main goal! You should focus on how much actual body fat that you lose by measuring circumferences with a tape measure or by using fat calipers. The reason these tables below don't really work are because everyone is different from each other and the table doesn't take in to account that people hold different amounts of muscle and bone weight. Some people are just supposed to be heavier than others. For example a top rugby player might seem obese when looking at this table or working out his Body Mass Index but its a fact that he has a very athletic physique and is in top physical condition. Now i don't want you to be disappointed that i didn't tell you your 'ideal weight' so below you can see how to work out your Body Mass Index. To work out your Body Mass Index do the following... weight in kg / height (m) x height (m) So if i weigh 80kg and am 1.85m tall i should multiply 1.85 by 2 which gives me 3.4225. Then i divide 80 by 3.4225 which gives a Body Mass Index of 23.4. You should be inbetween 18.5-24.9. Visit the fat burning foods page to help you get to your
ideal body weight.
